This time, the news comes from information released by the National Quality Certification Centre. Firstly, let's take a look at the battery capacity of the iPhone 17, which is 3,692mAh. For comparison, the iPhone 16 has a battery capacity of 3,561mAh.

The iPhone 17 Pro has a 3,988mAh battery, compared to the 3,582mAh battery in the iPhone 16 Pro.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max has a 4823mAh battery, compared to the 4685mAh battery in the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The U.S. version of the iPhone uses an eSIM virtual card across the board, with no physical card tray. Therefore, compared with the domestic line, the battery shape will be different, and the battery capacity will be relatively larger.

The U.S. version of the iPhone 17 Pro has a battery capacity of 4,252mAh, which is 264mAh more than the China-delivered version. the U.S. version of the iPhone 17 Pro Max has a battery capacity of 5,088mAh, which is 265mAh more than the China-delivered version. there is not much difference in the battery capacity between the two versions of the iPhone 17.

There's also the iPhone 17 Air model, which debuted brand new this year. Both the US and China-bound versions use an eSIM virtual card, so the battery capacity is the same, at 3,149mAh.

Overall, except for the iPhone 17 Air, which can't be compared, the battery capacity of the other three models has been increased. The U.S. version of the iPhone 17 Pro Max will exceed 5000mAh for the first time, and the battery life of this year's new iPhone is worth looking forward to!
